However the file locations vary depending whether you have Pro Tools 10 or My video covers Pro Tools 10 but some of the files and folders are in different locations for Pro Tools It is not essential to archive these but they hold information like your favorite plug-ins, the Open Recent list and all the settings you changed in the Pro Tools Preferences window.
The User Library folder is hidden by default. The easiest way to get to it is hold down the Alt key and access the Go menu in the Finder, select Library.
I can't open projects, I can't change the sample rates between I have made a couple of threads about these problems on this forum a couple of months ago and you guys told me that I probably need to re-install pro tools. I just haven't had the mental energy of trying to fix it until now. First thing's first. Has anybody here ever gotten this error message before? And if so - what did you do to fix it? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I am almost at a point where I think a complete Windows 10 re-installation is needed. What do you guys think?
